ZeTour

Chelsea and I drove to downtown LA on one of the clearest days I've seen in the city. Grant and Mike in the backseat groaned about traffic, a source of constant complaint for anyone who has to travel on a freeway in Los Angeles. We finally made it to the festival grounds, four blocks of closed off streets that was turned into an hipster's paradies. Will call accidentally gave Chelsea two VIP tickets so between the four of us we were one ticket short of an open bar. Disappeared and returned five minutes later with another ticket. A backstage ticket. Not even explaining how he worked his magic to get it, he grabbed my hand and wisked me off to see what kind of backstage access we could get. Granty used his Australian accent to convince a tour manager that he was a aussie dj who just got off a 14 hour flight and his 'girlfriend' needed a pass too. It worked and we wandered around the tour buses until we found one with a sign that read "JUSTIC", so of course we let ourselves in. Inside we find not only Justice, but Sabastian, Kavinsky, DJ Mehdi and Busy P. Cigarette smoke filled the hip tour bus, as did conversations in French. Justice's set time was approaching so everyone made their way for the stage, and we followed. While Justice and the rest played to a colossal crowd, Granty and I danced on stage with the rest of the cool kids.
